The exchange brought university students and professionals from the United States to Haiti to lead immersive educational activities with local students. Haitian students, in turn, introduced visitors to Haitian Creole, history, and cultural traditions.
The original site lists participants from Morehouse College, the University of San Diego, Clark Atlanta University, the University of Washington, Benedict College, and Spelman College. This denotes students’ institutions, not necessarily active institutional partnerships.
The original website stated that the program had been suspended because of political conditions and the pandemic. We are retaining that historical status until a new schedule has been confirmed.
