Our story began with a place to learn.
Since 2012, Bisou Bisou Haiti has brought together students, local leaders, and volunteers around education and community service.

A greeting rooted in respect.
“Bisou Bisou” draws from the French-language tradition of greeting others with a kiss on each cheek—a gesture of warmth and mutual respect. That spirit informs our commitment to learning through partnership and service.
Our work began as a safe space for students in Kafou Fèy preparing for Haiti’s BACC examination. Local university students helped organize study sessions, and the initiative grew to include tutoring, community learning, and cultural exchanges.
Milestones that shaped us.
A study space takes shape

Learning across borders

Education amid crisis
Following the August earthquake, the organization outlined an education-access and school-supply response for displaced students.
Strengthening the model
Our ambitions include sustainable resource centers, stronger local partnerships, and future programming in Cap-Haïtien. These are plans, not currently announced active services.
