Earthquake Education Response
Keeping educational opportunities in view during recovery.
Students should not be left behind.
Following the August 14, 2021 earthquake, Bisou Bisou Haiti outlined a proposed education-support response for displaced students. Its goals included access to safe learning spaces, educational materials, tutoring, and skills workshops.
The original proposal described age-appropriate support: arithmetic and literacy for elementary students; mathematics, science, and reading for secondary students; and study, research, and short-course opportunities for university students.
A school-supply appeal listed backpacks, notebooks, writing materials, learning devices, educational software, and solar lighting among requested items.
Because the original appeal is dated, the old donation mailing address and wish list are intentionally not presented as active. Please contact us for verified current needs.
